New tech recovers 92% of EV battery metals
FOX Business' Kelly Saberi joins'America's Newsroom' to discuss President Donald Trump and the Environmental Protection Agency's push to rescind an emissions law enacted by former President Barack Obama. As demand for clean energy grows, so does the need for smarter storage solutions. Lithium-ion batteries are leading the charge, but they don't last forever. That creates a big problem: what do we do with all the dead batteries? Thanks to a new method developed by researchers at Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI), we may finally have an answer.

Harris' 'ice princess' demeanor, Bush's belly-tap were key expressions at Jimmy Carter's funeral: expert
Presidents Clinton, George H.W. Bush, Obama, Biden and Trump all pay respect to Jimmy Carter at his state funeral in Washington, D.C.. During the 2024 campaign cycle, Americans witnessed what appeared to be no love lost between President-elect Donald Trump and former President Barack Obama. However, at former President Jimmy Carter's funeral the two recent presidents appeared to be enjoying each other's company and largely ignored other dignitaries arriving around them, including Vice President Kamala Harris and President Biden. Susan Constantine, a communication and body language expert, said Harris came off "as cool as could be." When she was walking she was very robotic.

Trump says Mark Zuckerberg called to apologize about photo of assassination attempt
Former President Trump told FOX Business' Maria Bartiromo last week that Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg called him to apologize after Facebook wrongly mislabeled a now-viral photo of the former president. The photo showing Trump raising a fist after a July 13 assassination attempt at his campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, sliced his ear was initially labeled as misinformation on the social media site. "So, Mark Zuckerberg called me. First of all, he called me two times. He called me after the event and he said that was really amazing," Trump told Bartiromo in a "Mornings with Maria" interview that aired Thursday.

Is the US Navy using AI to prepare for the next conflict?
Jets can be flown by A.I. and can even take off, land and participate in dogfights. It's no secret at this point that AI is taking over many industries fast, and it certainly has its positives and negatives. Some are concerned with how using this technology will impact jobs for humans, while others are thrilled to see how tasks will get done much more efficiently. Virginia Gov. Youngkin says more schools should ban ChatGPT
New York attorney and writer Alexander Zubatov weighs in on how A.I. is rapidly changing society and says he's concerned about A.I. being used as a weapon against descent on'The Ingraham Angle.' Virginia Gov. Glenn Youngkin said Thursday that more school districts should ban the ChatGPT artificial intelligence tool. The Republican said during a CNN evening town hall that the U.S. should be clear about its goal as a nation "which is to make sure that our kids can think and, therefore, if a machine is thinking for them, then we're not accomplishing our goal." "I do think that it's something to be very careful of, and I do think more districts, more school districts should ban it," the governor said. Earlier in the year, public schools in northern Virginia blocked the chatbot from county-issued devices. ARE YOU READY FOR AI VOICE CLONING ON YOUR PHONE?

Microsoft, Baker Hughes announce artificial intelligence partnership for oil and gas industry
FOX Business' Charles Payne covers artificial intelligence and genetic editing and says Hollywood movies often dramatizing these cutting-edge technologies when we should actually be embracing and investing in companies that develop them. Artificial intelligence can help companies increase their efficiency, reduce their carbon footprint and help keep workers safe, according to engineering experts. Now, Microsoft is partnering with energy industry tech company Baker Hughes and AI developer C3.ai to bring enterprise AI technology to the energy industry via its Azure cloud computing platform. The companies said their alliance would allow customers to streamline the adoption of AI designed to address issues like inventory, energy management, predictive maintenance and equipment reliability. "For the energy industry, this is a time of significant transformation and forward-thinking companies are exploring how to leverage technology to make their operations cleaner, safer and more efficient," said Judson Athoff, EVP of Microsoft's worldwide commercial business, in a press release.
How artificial intelligence is taking over our world
FOX Business' Maria Bartiromo reports on the growth of artificial intelligence and the impact it could have on jobs. It sounds like a plot of a science-fiction novel: A future that doesn't need human beings. But is it more reality than fantasy? Most people use artificial intelligence and probably don't even realize they're using it -- whether it's asking Siri a question or trying to avoid a traffic jam using GPS or even using our faces as a password to access our smartphones. Artificial intelligence is defined as the capability of a machine to imitate intelligent human behavior.
Robots replacing human jobs: Potentially 200,000 cuts on the horizon
A Seattle-based company created a machine that can crank out up to 300 12-inch pies an hour. Interest in using artificial intelligence for efficiency in the workplace has been growing rapidly in recent years, and technology continues to be released by big-tech leaders to help support a variety of businesses and their specific job functions, but that means there will be far fewer jobs in the future. "Banks are making some big investments in technology that could lead to 200,000 job cuts in the next decade," FOX News Correspondent Cheryl Casone reported on FOX Business' "Mornings with Maria" on Oct. 2. "Finance firms, reportedly, are spending about $150 billion on technology every year. Robots have already taken over in many call centers and in online chat rooms." Recently in Seattle, AI machinery was introduced that has the power to mass-produce pizza.
